2016 was a year of change for me: I wanted to move away from the classic SLR camera and finally try out a system camera.

 

After some comparison and testing, I quickly settled on FUJIFILM.

I started out with the FUJI X-T1 – and looking back, that was the beginning of a real passion. I was immediately impressed by the operating concept in particular: the classic dials that allow you to directly adjust the exposure time, ISO or exposure compensation. No menu confusion, no endless buttons – just photography. This analogue, conscious way of working with the camera immediately captivated me and continues to shape my style to this day.

Of course, my equipment has grown over time. Today, I work with the X-T3, X-T4 and X-T5, depending on the application. And one thing has remained the same: the joy of direct control and the high-quality selection of FUJI lenses, which offer something suitable for each of my preferred focal lengths.

Over time, another focus was added – video production. The FUJI bodies have proven to be amazingly powerful video cameras. My setup is now complemented by a DJI drone and a DJI action cam, which open up whole new perspectives and creative possibilities for me.
